Έκαναν σεξ μέσα σε μαγνητικό τομογράφο και κατέληξαν σε επιστημονική ανακάλυψη

Ο Ολλανδός επιστήμονας Menko Victor «Pek» van Andel θέλησε να μελετήσει τι ακριβώς συμβαίνει στο ανθρώπινο σώμα κατά τη διάρκεια της σεξουαλικής επαφής. Για τον σκοπό αυτό, ζήτησε από συναδέλφους του, την Ida Sabelis και τον σύντροφό της Jupp, να συμμετάσχουν σε ένα πρωτόγνωρο πείραμα μέσα σε μηχάνημα μαγνητικής τομογραφίας (MRI).

Παρά τον περιορισμένο χώρο και τις δυσκολίες, το ζευγάρι κατάφερε να ολοκληρώσει τη διαδικασία, προσφέροντας πολύτιμα δεδομένα στους ερευνητές.

Τι έδειξαν οι εικόνες του MRI

Οι μαγνητικές τομογραφίες αποκάλυψαν ότι το ανδρικό μόριο δεν παραμένει ευθύ κατά τη διάρκεια της επαφής, αλλά καμπυλώνεται ώστε να προσαρμόζεται στο σχήμα του γυναικείου κόλπου. Το εύρημα αυτό ανέτρεψε παλαιότερες θεωρίες, ακόμη και εκείνες που είχαν διατυπωθεί από τον Λεονάρντο ντα Βίντσι.

Μεταξύ 1991 και 1999, πραγματοποιήθηκαν συνολικά 13 καταγεγραμμένες σεξουαλικές επαφές μέσα σε MRI με τη συμμετοχή οκτώ ζευγαριών και τριών γυναικών. Στις περισσότερες περιπτώσεις, οι άνδρες χρειάστηκε να λάβουν Viagra για να ανταποκριθούν στις ιδιαίτερα δύσκολες συνθήκες.

Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας δημοσιεύθηκαν στο British Medical Journal.

Σε όλες τις περιπτώσεις, οι επιστήμονες παρατήρησαν ότι η ουροδόχος κύστη των γυναικών γέμιζε γρήγορα κατά τη διάρκεια της επαφής, παρότι είχαν επισκεφθεί την τουαλέτα πριν το πείραμα. Η αιτία του φαινομένου παραμένει αδιευκρίνιστη.
