Η Προεδρεύουσα της Δημοκρατίας, Πρόεδρος της Βουλής, Αννίτα Δημητρίου, θα προεδρεύσει σήμερα στις 0900 το πρωί συνεδρίας του Υπουργικού Συμβουλίου.

Πρόκειται για την πρώτη συνεδρία του Υπουργικού Συμβουλίου της οποίας προεδρεύει η κ. Δημητρίου μετά την εκλογή της στην προεδρία της Βουλής, ενώ είναι και η πρώτη φορά που ασκεί καθήκοντα Προεδρεύουσας της Δημοκρατίας, λόγω της απουσίας του Προέδρου της Δημοκρατίας, Νίκου Αναστασιάδη, στο εξωτερικό.

Ο Πρόεδρος της Δημοκρατίας βρίσκεται από χθες Τετάρτη στις Βρυξέλλες για να συμμετάσχει στη σύνοδο του Ευρωπαϊκού Συμβουλίου που πραγματοποιείται σήμερα και αύριο.
