Tο Υπουργείο Υγείας ανακοίνωσε τη Δευτέρα ότι έχει ήδη προβεί σε όλες τις δέουσες ενέργειες για άφιξη του αντιικού φαρμάκου Paxlovid στην Κύπρο εντός των επόμενων εικοσιτετραώρων. Το σκεύασμα χορηγείται για τη θεραπεία της νόσου COVID-19.
Στην ανακοίνωση αναφέρεται ότι η παραγγελία για προμήθεια του εν λόγω φαρμάκου αναμενόταν να αφιχθεί στην Κύπρο την Κυριακή 14 Ιανουαρίου, η άφιξη του ωστόσο δεν κατέστη δυνατή, λόγω θεμάτων που προέκυψαν στην μεταφορά του από το εξωτερικό.
