Ικανοποίηση για την απόφαση του Γενικού και του Βοηθού Γενικού Εισαγγελέα σε σχέση με το πόρισμα της ποινικής έρευνας για τις καταγγελίες εναντίον του τέως Διοικητή της ΥΚΑΝ, εκφράζει ο Σύνδεσμος Αστυνομίας Κύπρου (Σ.Α.Κ.) και χαρακτηρίζει την απόφαση «απόλυτα τεκμηριωμένη και ορθή».
Στην ανακοίνωση ο Σύνδεσμος διαβεβαιώνει την κοινωνία ότι «οι συνάδελφοι θα συνεχίσουν με τον ίδιο ζήλο και αφοσίωση να την υπηρετούν, με απώτερο σκοπό την ασφάλεια των πολιτών και με γνώμονα το δημόσιο συμφέρον».
